Location: Airports in Canada

Based in: Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Ottawa
Travel Requirement: Up to 70% within Canada and the U.S.
Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 CAD/year plus bonus

 

Are you ready to take your construction and project management skills to the next level in the fast-paced world of airport restaurant development? We are seeking a Project Manager, Design and Construction to join our dynamic team, driving the creation of cutting-edge dining concepts in some of the busiest airports in North America.


 

What You’ll Do:

 

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Act as the on-site liaison for individual and multi-unit restaurant development programs across major airports in North America.
  • Oversee project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring cost accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Manage design and construction processes, including site surveys, coordination with architects and engineers, contractor oversight, inspections, and project close-outs.
  • Lead communication with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and problem resolution.
  • Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates, progress reports, and ensure all deliverables meet high performance and safety standards.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role (7 years preferred), with a strong preference for experience in restaurant and retail facilities within secure environments, such as airports.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction project management fundamentals, intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with large-scale digital and physical environments.
  • Leadership: Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to manage simultaneous projects and interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Travel and Eligibility: Must be willing to travel up to 70%, able to work in Canada without sponsorship, and meet airport security clearance requirements (TSA, Transport Canada, etc.).
