Puerto Tortas Tacos Cantina is a bold, chef-led concept developed in partnership with acclaimed Spokane chef Chad White and SSP America. This vibrant destination brings coastal Mexican flavors to travelers - handcrafted tacos, hearty tortas, breakfast favorites, and inventive street-inspired specialties - all served in a high-energy airport setting.

 

We’re looking for a driven Assistant Manager who leads from the floor, protects food quality like it’s personal, and builds teams that execute with confidence.


What You’ll Own

  • Direct daily restaurant operations across FOH and BOH
  • Maintain exceptional food standards and sanitation compliance
  • Control labor, inventory, and cost metrics
  • Train, coach, and elevate team performance
  • Ensure systems and processes run smoothly
  • Support forecasting, scheduling, and financial performance
  • Troubleshoot fast and lead with composure

 

This is a high-visibility role in a high-volume environment. If you love momentum, you’ll love this.


What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant leadership experience
  • Minimum 1 year in full-service restaurant management required
  • Experience leading both Front of House and Back of House teams in a full-service environment; fast-casual background a plus
  • Strong operational acumen with a sharp focus on food quality and safety
  • Comfortable using POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational demands
  • High School Diploma required; additional education preferred
