Assistant Commissary Manager

  • $65,000 / year
  • Full-Time | Hourly | Bonus Eligible

Are you an experienced food service professional with a passion for high-volume, a stickler for food safety, and a knack for leadership?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Commissary Manager in the Spokane International Airport. If you thrive in a fast-paced food environment and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage All Warehouse and Production Kitchen Activities
  • Focus on the Food
  • Lead and Develop Team
  • Systems and Processes
  • Inventory control and cost evaluation
  • Setting up par lists and stock on hand controls
  • Office Management
  • Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Problem Solving

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years in warehouse/commissary in a management/supervisory capacity.
  • Culinary background is desirable.
  • Proficient level of computer literacy, including MS Office and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities.
  • Ability to interact at all levels, including with executives, union representatives, and diverse hourly team members.
  • Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred.
