About the Role

Job Descriptions:

  • Solicitation and negotiation of quotations
  • In search of new sources of supply
  • Price comparison
  • Assist in the purchasing function of the Airport Lounges & F&B Retails.
  • To effectively source, negotiate and consolidate purchases and support the Procurement.
  • Manager with information relevant to the smooth operation of the Airport Lounges & F&B Retails.
  • Identify, source, and negotiate prices at the lowest cost possible consistent with the quality and service required.
  • Maintenance of current information on price lists sources of supply, reference data, and all contract documents for purchases.
  • Processing purchase requests
  • Recommending the suppliers
  • Process of purchase orders on a timely basis.
  • Placing the orders once the purchase orders are approved
  • Monitor the delivery of goods and to make certain that the goods are shipped according to the contract specification.
  • Operate and maintain a Purchasing System detailing specifications, negotiated deals, and nominated suppliers.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in the operation of the purchasing function.
  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures

Corporate Support

  • To support in audit function including audit preparation and other matters related to standard compliance.
  • Site visits as and when required by the Management.
  • Prepared documentation required by procurement
  • Responsible for Staff’s Performance & Training.
  • Prepared the proposal paper to get approval according to Company Approval Limit of Authority.
  • Look into all Procurement related matters for subcontractors as and when required.
  • To coordinate the ISO program towards to the certification of ISO9001:2015, OHSAS18001:2007, ISO 22000:2005 & ISO 18788:2015.
