People Intern, Asia Pacific
About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and creative intern to support the People team in its internal communications, engagement initiatives, and various People projects. This role combines People exposure with creative content development, ensuring our messages are clear, engaging, and aligned with business objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and development of visual assets, newsletters, presentation decks, and digital content to support People initiatives.
- Support communications for internal events such as employee town halls, campaigns, and HR project updates.
- Provide administrative assistance for recruitment, training, and employee engagement activities.
- Work closely with the People team to translate HR initiatives into compelling stories and campaigns.
- Gather ideas and best practices for workplace wellbeing, culture, and employee engagement.
- Assist in organizing staff activities and engagement events.
- Support the preparation and translation of training materials when required.
- Assist in preparing onboarding materials for new hires.
- Contribute to recognition initiatives such as long‑service awards and quarterly recognition programs, including admin support and video creation.
- Participate in People projects and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative and practical ideas.
Person Specification:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Communications, Marketing, HR, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in content creation, design, and storytelling; familiarity with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage for translation tasks.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects.
- Team player who can work closely with the People team and contribute creative ideas in brainstorming sessions.
- Comfortable supporting both HR‑related projects (recruitment, onboarding, recognition programs) and creative communications initiatives.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of digital platforms for internal communications is a plus.
- Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
