About the Role

BREAKFAST CHEF – The Quaystone Bar Newcastle Airport

Rate of pay:  £12.79 per hour (£13.99 per hour for every hour worked between midnight and 6 am)

Shift pattern: between 03:00 am - 12:00 pmUp to £150 per month tips/service charge

At The Quaystone you will be working in a team in a medium-sized kitchen, flexible with your hours, the majority of working hours between 03:00 am and 12:00 pm. We pride ourselves on ensuring a great work/life balance, with days off together where possible and no split shifts.

Under the supervision of our Kitchen Manager, you will be: 

  • Helping With deliveries. 
  • Preparing meats and vegetables.
  • Assisting other Chefs.
  • Assisting with stock rotation.
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
  • Efficient time keeping and time management of both preparation and food service. 
  • Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
  • Ensuring daily, weekly & monthly cleaning duties are carried out
  • Confidently cooking completed dishes from the menu.
