Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read food orders or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to specifications
  • Ensures all products are produced and presented according to the product standard specifications.
  • Ensures optimal production and minimization of wastage.
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases
  • Identifies any equipment and material needs and informs a supervisor.
  • Maintenance of the hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures of his/her section according to the ‘Food Code’ policies of Dubai municipality and brand’s guidelines.
  • Maintenance of all the health and safety policies and procedures of his/her section according to the brands, company, and Bahrain Airport policies and procedures.
  • Attends all meetings or trainings assigned by the management.
  • Complete other responsibilities and tasks assigned by the Management

Salary Package

Salary Package:

  • Basic Salary BD 150
  • Food Allowance BD 30
  • Accommodation, Transportation and Medical Insurance will be provided.

Consistent

  • Perform all tasks to a consistent standard and operate within the SSP & Brand standards.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance in all work areas.
  • Be punctual and consistent in attendance in compliance with weekly roster, to ensure minimal disruption to colleagues, work and unit performance.
  • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
  • Execute standard recipes according to company standards.
