As a sous chef you will provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.

 

You will oversee and organise kitchen stock and ingredients, keeping cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours, as well as managing food product ordering, all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards. You will coordinate with the restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • experience of successfully managing a kitchen in very high-volume restaurant operation
  • experience of managing, motivating, leading and developing a team of Chefs and Kitchen Staff
  • experience of operational/financial procedures such as rotas, stock taking, ordering, audits
  • Qualified Chef with Food Hygiene level 3, Health & Safety Certification
