Corporate Travel Coordinator / PA

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Travel Coordinator/PA to support our Chief Procurement Officer on a part time (20 hours per week) basis. The scope of this role is interesting and varied, so you would need to be comfortable working at pace and be highly organised.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related issues within the SSP Group HO, resolving internal concerns as needed. Coordinating, arranging, and overseeing all travel and travel-related activities, including approvals, itineraries and accommodations.
  • Review and approve travel arrangements while suggesting cost-effective alternatives, also monitor global events to anticipate and address potential travel disruptions.
  • Providing comprehensive daily administrative and operational support, including diary management, schedule optimisation, correspondence handling and expense reporting.
  • Taking comprehensive notes during meetings, tracking key actions, and holding the Chief Procurement Officer, and their teams accountable for timely execution to keep workflows and projects progressing efficiently.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling team events, including the Purchasing Conference.
  • Manage and coordinate activities related to the SSP foundation, including monitoring the inbox, preparing and circulating meeting agendas to trustees, working to deadlines.
  • Event planning, including venue bookings, onsite event set-up, communicate with suppliers and track event budgets.
  • Maintain and update the SharePoint site for Procurement.
