Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced People Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting the organization's HR function.The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and have a passion for fostering a positive work environment. The People Specialist will work closely with both employees and management to ensure the smooth execution of HR operations and contribute to the achievement of the company's goals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct regular market research to ensure the company’s compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain compensation structures, including salary bands, incentive plans, and bonus programs.
  • Provide recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and bonuses based on performance, market trends, and budgetary considerations.
  • Administer the company’s benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off (PTO), and other employee perks.
  • Assist employees in understanding their benefits options and the enrollment process.
  • Manage the open enrollment period for benefits, providing support and guidance to employees.
  • Stay up-to-date on compensation and benefits legislation to ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to government agencies regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure that compensation adjustments, bonuses, and benefits deductions are accurately reflected in payroll.
  • Address any payroll discrepancies related to compensation or benefits and work with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide clear communication to employees regarding compensation policies, benefits programs, and any changes to these offerings.
  • Offer one-on-one support to employees on compensation-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct compensation and benefits orientation for new hires.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Work with HR leadership to ensure compensation strategies are aligned with organizational goals, values, and budgets.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist or similar HR role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, benefits programs, and compensation laws.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with teams.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
