Commercial Analyst Retail

Are You Our Next Nordic Commercial Retail Analyst?

Do you get genuinely excited about a well-formatted spreadsheet? Do you see the world in graphs, arrows, and pivot tables? Is "price optimization" something you whisper sweetly to yourself before bed?

Then you might be our next Nordic Commercial Retail Analyst also known as “the one who actually knows what works.”

You will work at the intersection of operations, analysis, and Category/Commercial, and take part in the most central commercial processes for kiosk and fine foods sales. With us, you will be part of a strong professional environment and hold a key and challenging role across a broad range of tasks for our retail brands, with Point being your primary focus.

What You’ll Be Doing (other than dazzling us):

  • Figuring out what sells, why it sells, and how we can sell it even better — with hard facts and smooth dashboards.
  • Working closely with the Retail and Marketing teams to create commercial miracles that bring in more sales and happy margins.
  • Building forecasting models so robust even meteorologists get jealous.
  • Saying “the data doesn’t support that” to anyone relying solely on gut feelings.
  • Measuring, testing, learning — and never guessing. We like numbers, not tarot cards.
  • Living and breathing test & learn strategies and delivering presentations that make leadership nod so hard it echoes.

What You’ll Need (besides knowing VLOOKUP in your sleep):

  • genuine passion for numbers, trends, and "what-if" scenarios.
  • Experience with modeling and analysis tools and ideally the magic touch to uncover insights from Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • A stubborn streak that won’t quit until you find the answer  or prove the question was wrong.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with planograms and know they’re not flat-packed furniture from IKEA.
  • Due to airport security requirements, all employees must have a clean criminal record and have resided continuously in Norway or another EU/EEA country for the past 5 years.

What About Your Formal Experience?

We’re hoping for a bachelor’s degree in economics, analytics, or another relevant superpower. Experience in a similar industry? Even better!

Holding a master’s or equivalent? That’s like being Batman with extra gadgets always a plus.

But hey, if you think you’ve got what it takes to blow us away, don’t let formalities hold you back. Forget the old idea that a degree is a key card to the club if you’ve got the right attitude and skills, we want to hear from you. Let us decide if you're the one!

What We Can Offer You:

  • The freedom to ask questions like, “What if we move this yogurt variant 12 cm to the left?”
  • A chance to shape how we sell across the entire Nordic region.
  • A flexible workday, competitive salary, and all that jazz.
  • Career opportunities within a large international company.
  • Discounts at our locations for you and your travel companions.
  • Free access to digital fitness classes through Bedriftsidretten.
  • Solid training and development via our international SSP Academy.
  • A workplace where no two days are the same.
