Why This Role Matters

Airport restaurants operate at a different level — fast-paced, high-visibility, and operationally complex. At HPN, you’ll lead a single-unit restaurant serving a sophisticated and diverse traveler base, including private aviation guests.

As the General Manager, you run the show. You’ll own the full restaurant operation, partner with airport leadership, coach and develop your team, and drive results across service, financial performance, and compliance.

This role is ideal for a strong operator who enjoys autonomy, accountability, and leading from the front in a structured corporate environment.

  • Full restaurant and bar operations
  • Cost control, inventory management & vendor coordination
  • Hiring, onboarding & team leadership
  • Guest experience & hospitality standards
  • Safety, food quality & regulatory compliance
  • Collaboration with airport and regional leadership
  • Forecasting, budgeting & operational planning

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager w/bar experience required
  • Proven full operational accountability for a restaurant or hospitality unit
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing to labor and food cost targets
  • Experience leading and developing teams in high-volume environments
  • Confidence interacting with senior leaders and external partners
  • A structured, organized leadership style with strong floor presence
  • Comfort using POS systems, MS Office, and operational tools
  • Airport or upscale hospitality experience is a plus.
