Financial System Specialist - SAP FICO/ HANA

About the Role

Reporting to Financial Controller, Asia Pacific, the Finance Specialist will be based in our Asia Pacific office in Hong Kong and supporting the SAP implementation in Asia Pacific.

Main Responsibilities

  • Knowledge in SAP modules such as New General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Systems, Cost Center Accounting with good understanding of system integration with financial reporting and banking.
  • Implement and manage SAP HANA financial modules to streamline financial operations.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to support business decisions.
  • Support month-end and year-end activities in Finance/Controlling.
  • Design and develop financial models and forecasting tools specific to the F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP HANA functionalities.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the financial systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and SAP HANA advancements to enhance system functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with SAP HANA in a finance role, preferably within the F&B or hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in the ANY one of the following major modules: SAP FI/ CO / Finance & Reporting / Fixed Asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience with financial modelling and forecasting is a plus.
  • SAP certification is desirable.
