Salary: €42,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a Cash Office Manager to oversee the cash office function across our Dublin Airport operation. This role is responsible for managing cash reconciliation processes, monitoring revenue controls, investigating variances, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial controls.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational teams by maintaining accurate cash management processes and ensuring the integrity of revenue reporting. The role will be reporting to Regional Cash Officer Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash variance analysis between till systems and source data, providing narrative and explanations to the Regional Cash Office Manager
  • Monitoring cash loss, voids, discounts and returns by colleague and reporting these to the Unit Manager and OM
  • Escalating trending issues or values above tolerance to RCOM and/or the Loss Preventions team.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation to source data.
  • Ordering coin at agreed levels.
  • Verification and banking of leisure revenue.
  • Main safe reconciliation 3 x daily.
  • Cash retained reconciliation for site including verification of unit safes.
  • CCTV checks relating to cash variances.
  • Cash purchases checks and input.
  • Balancing Lynx cash office daily
  • Unit Till checks
  • CASP compliance with issues raised to OM, LP and RCOM.
  • Investigations relating to revenue variances.
  • Staff training of unit banking process
  • Loomis banking variances and reconciliation investigation and reporting.
  • Processing of credit business / vouchers promptly.
  • Train all members of the cash office on departmental and company operational practice, policy and procedures always ensuring strict governance and compliance.
  • Physically count cash and collate for Loomis banking (clean banking)
  • Daily reconciliation of revenue and VAT.
  • All paperwork filed or sent to Parklands.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the greatest value of cash possible is banked each collection.
  • Health and Safety compliant and essential training undertaken by all local cash office colleagues.

  • A methodical and pragmatic approach to your work is essential.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

 

Desirable

  • Experience working within a cash office, finance, retail, hospitality, or operational environment.
  • Comfortable with using and learning basic functions of company IT systems
