About the Role

Country People Manager, Thailand

Lead the People function and be responsible for the strategy and day to day running of Human Resources Management and Training for Thailand to align business strategies. Accountable for effective teams, administration systems, following of company policies and procedures whilst focusing on colleague development, engagement and satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Guide the SLT on people practices, promote ethical culture, and represent the market in APAC forums.
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategy, manage manpower planning, and build strong talent pipelines.
  • Reward & Payroll: Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll, ensuring compliance and market competitiveness.
  • Training & Talent: Drive performance reviews, training plans, and succession planning to strengthen future leadership.
    Engagement & Relations: Lead engagement programs, administer surveys, and advise on employee relations.
  • Policies & Compliance: Ensure HR policies align with company vision and legal requirements, while managing budgets and reporting.
  • New Unit Support: Recruit, onboard, and develop teams for new openings when required.

Person Specification

  • 8–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (F&B, hospitality, retail, or service industries preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Thai labour law and proven HR initiatives with measurable ROI.
  • Experience as a business partner, team leader, and capability developer.
  • Fluent in English, computer literate, with strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
