Night Shift Cleaning & Support Operative

NIGHT SHIFT CLEANING & SUPPORT OPERATIVE  - BURGER KING, BRISTOL AIRPORT

 

Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £14.10 per hour!

 

Shift Pattern: Full-time, 12AM - 6 AM. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

ABOUT YOU: 

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe and ready for service.

This role is physically demanding, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with:

• Working in a fast-paced operational environment
• Carrying out deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and facilities
• Manual handling tasks, including moving equipment and supporting with deliveries
• Standing, lifting and working on your feet throughout the shift
• Working independently overnight and using initiative

You’ll also bring:

• A positive, reliable attitude
• Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
• A team-focused mindset

Please note:

• 5 years of references and a Criminal Record Check are required for airport roles
• Due to some responsibilities within this role, applicants must be 18 or over

 

 

ABOUT THE NIGHT SHIFT CLEANING & SUPPORT OPERATIVE ROLE:  

 

During the night shift, you will help prepare the restaurant for the next day by ensuring the kitchen and facilities are fully cleaned, organised and operational.  Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, floors and work surfaces
• Cleaning specialist equipment such as broilers and grills
• Maintaining high hygiene standards across all back-of-house areas
• Supporting with deliveries, unpacking and organising stock
• Moving and handling equipment safely as part of cleaning routines
• Following all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
