About the Role


 The Senior Finance Manager for Financial Reporting UK, IRE & NL plays a pivotal role in our finance department. This position holder will lead internal and external audits and preparation of statutory financial statements, The role also includes a wide range of other areas including treasury, Group financial reporting, month end processes, compliance and internal controls.


What you'll be Doing:

  • Financial Reporting: oversee reporting of UK, IRE and NL legal entities including the preparation and filing of statutory accounts.
  • Audit Management: lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, financial controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Balance Sheet Accounting: substantiation, reporting and forecasting of our balance sheet ledgers.
  • Intercompany: reporting and matching of intercompany balances with timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Cash Management:  Cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis and other treasury matters to ensure sufficient funding for the UK business.
  • Process Improvements: Maintain and strengthen robust internal controls and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures.
  • Leadership: Responsible for the mentoring and development of a small team.
  • Collaboration: establish, build and maintain relationships with key internal and external

 

To Be successful in this role you will need:

  • Qualifications:  ACA/ACCA/CIMA (minimum 3 years PQE) with work experience in audit and statutory accounts 
  • Communication skills: engage effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Technical expertise: strong knowledge of standards particularly in UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Organisation skills: able to manage multiple deadlines in fast paced environment. 
  • Team Management: previous management experience
