About the Role
Role: Assistant Rewards Manager, Asia Pacific
Main Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Rewards Manager, Asia Pacific, the incumbent will provide assistance in regional reward projects, with focuses on process and policy review and compensation & benefits benchmarking projects. Besides, he/she will also provide support on annual rewards exercises such as data verification on annual salary review and bonus plans.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and benchmarking analysis across Asia Pacific to evaluate the competitiveness of the company's rewards programs.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the company's reward offerings.
- Participate in external salary survey, analyze survey data and external market data to provide insights and recommendations on rewards packages.
- Assist in the review and update of compensation and benefits policies and processes across Asia Pacific to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate policy changes to relevant stakeholders ensuring understanding and adherence.
- Provide support on annual reward exercises across Asia Pacific including but not limited to Annual salary review, Global and local bonus plans, Performance and Development Reviews.
- Support and handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Reward Manager, Asia Pacific.
Person Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or any related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years' reward experience in sizable corporations.
- Asia Pacific regional exposure is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of labor legislation in Asia Pacific (i.e., Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Australia) is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical skills and numerical sense.
- Energetic, proactive, meticulous, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and effective working relationships from People team through to Executive Level.
- High Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
