Assistant Digital & Technology Manager

About the Role

The Digital and Technology Assistant Manager supports the planning, implementation, and management of digital and technology initiatives across our F&B operations in Hong Kong. This role works closely with operations to fully understand business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring seamless restaurant operations, enhancing customer experience, and driving digital transformation. 

Responsibilities

  • Digital Transformation Support:
    Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital projects (e.g., POS systems, online ordering, mobile apps, loyalty programs, kiosk/self-ordering, payment solutions).
  • System Administration:
    Oversee daily support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for critical restaurant technology systems, including POS, inventory management and back-office platforms.
  • Project Management:
    Coordinate with vendors, IT teams, and business users to ensure timely and successful rollout of new technology solutions and the successful launch of new F&B / Lounges within Hong Kong.
  • Data & Analytics:
    Support data collection and analytics initiatives to provide actionable insights on sales, customer behaviour, and operational efficiency.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance:
    Help ensure all systems comply with company and regulatory standards working closely with regional and global teams for execution
    Understanding of Cyber Security frameworks and certifications such as NIST.
  • Training & Support:
    Deliver training and support to restaurant team and back office team on new digital tools and technologies.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Act as a liaison between restaurant operations, IT, and vendor partners to gather feedback, address issues, and communicate updates.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Proactively identify and recommend technology enhancements to improve guest experience and streamline operations. 

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • 4 years or above solid experience within Digital & Technology roles. Experience in F&B / Hospitality industry preferred.  
  • Experience with POS, Inventory, Networking & Infrastructure (Oracle Simphony would be a bonus)
  • Strong leadership, communication and organization skills
  • Team player and positive attitude
