Assistant Accountant, Asia Pacific (4 months contract)

About the Role

Reporting to Senior Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant will be based in our Asia Pacific office in Hong Kong and supporting our operations in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Head Office.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivables, fixed asset and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support in vendor creation and consolidation of timesheet reporting.
  • Assist in monthly vendor reconciliations and follow up reconciling items.
  • Assist in cash flow reporting.
  • Assist in month end closing & reporting.
  • Prepare monthly tax schedules for VAT & WHT reporting.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties when required.  

 

Requirments

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related discipline.
  • 3 years or above hands on accounting experiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to details.
  • Good knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Experience in Microsoft Navision is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English is preferred.
