Compensation:

  • $95,000 - $110,000 / year + bonus eligible

As a Safety Manager, you’ll play a vital role in creating and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace across multiple airport restaurant locations. You’ll partner with teams, lead safety programs, deliver impactful training, and ensure compliance with safety standards while traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada (~50%).

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate workplace conditions and recommend resources like tools, equipment, and maintenance to enhance safety.
  • Develop and deliver safety training to stakeholders, creating a culture of safety awareness.
  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
  • Investigate and document incidents, recommending actions to mitigate future risks.
  • Provide guidance and motivation to achieve safety goals and reduce incidents.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and safety cost controls.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion safety initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Safety/Risk Manager, ideally in a unionized food and beverage or restaurant environment.
  • Proven ability to develop safety programs and partner with risk management professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety controls in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to travel ~50% across the U.S. and Canada and work remotely.
  • Eligibility to pass required background checks and obtain TSA/FAA clearance.
