Compensation: $108,000 - 121,500 (CAD) + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Location: Richmond, BC - YVR Airport (Must live within reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate)

 

Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We are seeking a Regional IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team, supporting airport restaurant locations across North America! This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced IT professional with a background in restaurant management to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

 

SSP is a leading global provider of dining establishments in airports, operating cafes, bakeries, bars, casual dining, convenience retail, and quick service restaurants. The Regional IT Support Technician will implement and support the IT infrastructure in this environment to ensure seamless integration and operation, supporting the business needs of these establishments. The primary focus of the position includes, but is not limited to, working with restaurant POS systems, self-order kiosks, order-at-the-table systems, pay-at-the-table systems, web-based reporting systems, computer networking, and other applications used to manage restaurants and grow our business.

 

As the Regional IT Support Technician, you'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and develop strong professional relationships. Your role will be pivotal in IT troubleshooting, network system set-up, and deployment of third-party applications—all while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Manage IT system implementations for airport restaurant locations.
  • Lead as a liaison for network system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide hands-on support and training for end-users on IT and technology systems.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and proactively address technology incidents.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure seamless rollouts, budget management, and staff training.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong IT network infrastructure knowledge and project management expertise.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel extensively (75% within North America).
  • A passion for technology and delivering top-tier client service.
