At SSP America, we value Ownership, Teamwork, Curiosity, and Passion. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on how candidates experience our company while helping teams stay organized, informed, and supported throughout the hiring process.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain accurate candidate records, interview documentation, trackers, and status updates while protecting confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate SSP America values of Ownership and Passion through responsive service, follow-through, and a hospitality-driven candidate experience.
  • Systems, Tools, and Process Optimization (Ownership, Curiosity)
  • Serve as a primary resource for applicant tracking systems, recruiting tools, AI-enabled technology, and related processes.
  • Help identify process gaps, troubleshoot issues, and support improvements that make recruiting operations more efficient and effective.
  • Support process documentation, team training, and best practices related to recruiting tools and workflows.
  • Demonstrate SSP America values of Ownership and Curiosity by improving processes, learning new tools, and helping others use systems effectively.
  • Stakeholder Partnership, Support, and Issue Resolution (Teamwork, Passion)
  • Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, People teams, and other stakeholders to support hiring needs and deliver a consistent recruiting process.
  • Help resolve candidate experience and onboarding issues by gathering information, coordinating with the right partners, and communicating updates clearly.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support on recruiting tools, processes, and best practices as business needs evolve.
  • Demonstrate SSP America values of Teamwork and Passion through collaboration, professionalism, and candidate-focused support.
  • Reporting, Analytics, and Continuous Improvement (Curiosity, Ownership)
  • Track recruiting and candidate experience data, maintain accurate reporting, and surface trends or opportunities for improvement.
  • Support efforts to improve consistency, reduce delays, and strengthen the overall candidate experience.
  • Demonstrate SSP America values of Curiosity and Ownership by using data, attention to detail, and sound judgment to improve results.
  • Employer Brand, Talent Attraction, and Business Support (Passion, Teamwork)
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction efforts, including recruiting events, referrals, and other hiring initiatives as needed.
  • Provide flexible support across recruiting priorities based on hiring volume and business needs.
  • Travel within the United States and Canada, including overnight travel, as needed.
  • Demonstrate SSP America values of Passion and Teamwork by representing the company professionally and supporting shared hiring goals.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework in human resources, business, communications, operations, or a related field is a plus.
