Role Summary
Bartender
Main Purpose of Job
Overall responsible to ensure sanitation and cleanliness of bar, desserts, fruits related areas, equipment, and utensil, and to support the preparation and production for operations.
Main Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the daily smooth operation of the bar
- To ensure upselling as per monthly target promo e.g.; happy hour upselling
- To ensure the high quality and consistency of the beverages served
- To ensure the cleanliness and hygienic practices in food and beverages handling
- To ensure replenishment food/desserts at display chiller includes beverages etc.
- To clean coffee/beer/wine glass after being use by the guest
- To maintain and to always keep clean bar counter.
- To ensure that the areas where the goods are kept clean at all time
- To ensure all items inside the bar follow FIFO
- To be responsible for the daily inventory
- To assist guest for taking orders, demonstrate a thorough knowledge of our beverage and food menu, and provide recommendations to guests upon request
- To cooperate and work in a team towards development, maintenance, and improvement of the quality management system
- To take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate
- Perform other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor.
Person Specification
Essential:
• F.5 or Diploma in Hospitality / F&B or related disciplines is an advantage
• 2 to 5 years’ relevant working experience in catering hospitality, fine dining or in similar capacity is an advantage
• Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktail, with wine and beverage certificate or relevant certificates will be an advantage
• Proficiency in spoken English and Cantonese, while Mandarin is preferable
• Good team player, passion and positive attitude with good customer service communication skills
Desirable:
• Experience in Hotel industry
